Overlooking the coast line near the Salk Institute in San Diego is the Torrey Pines Gliderport. This was an unscheduled short excursion recommended by Tom Albright. We didn’t see any paragliders, but the view of the ocean was spectacular. The wind was powerful and we could smell the ocean. If we had more time, we would have liked to spend more time there.
