The De Young Museum had two specific things we wanted to see; the Tower and the special Cult of the Machine exhibit. The Tower is an impressive structure and once at the top, the views of the surrounding Golden Gate Park were wonderful. It was disappointing that we were unable to follow the wrapping stairs the led down around the Tower. We were told those spaces were for offices and museum staff.
