Our office is a single open space. Metal panels divide the space into linear compartments. The metal is perforated, making the panels semi-transparent, re-connecting the compartments. Sheets of glass divide the compartments, yet retain the visual connectivity of the adjacent spaces. The visual environment reflects the working environment. People are assembled into teams of various sizes to respond to the demands of a wide range of projects. Hierarchies change from one moment to the next to respond to the needs of the moment. The intent is to do the right thing, not the usual thing. The emphasis: to remain agile, and to innovate.
