Fifteen years after the construction of their Headquarters in San Jose, Adobe selected VDTA to develop the design and planning strategy for their next generation of the work place. The original build-out, located in three Class A high- rise office towers, included 80 private offices but only four conference rooms. The 12th floor is the pilot project designed with the primary drivers of effectiveness, innovation, flexibility and cost optimization following Adobe’s corporate commitment to sustainability. W12 is designed to be LEED Platinum Certified.
The required private conference rooms and low-partitioned stationary desks are complemented with touchdown spaces, informal meeting spaces, a game room and a kitchenette with booth seating. Adobe’s new Work Anyplace space includes state-of-the-art video conferencing capabilities and smart floor technology for the management of energy consumption to support Adobe’s corporate mobility program enabling the optimization of the real estate. The environmental graphics, including Adobe branded graphics and team pin-up boards, reinforce the collaboration and corporate brand throughout the office.
VDTA is currently working on the deployment of the strategy on locations across North America – New York, San Francisco and San Jose – and beyond to locations like Sydney, Australia.
