BIO

Born in Seattle, Miles received and BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design where he studied Painting and graphic design. While working as a woodworker and artist in the San Francisco Bay area, he developed an interest in fabrication and digital design which later grew into an appreciation for the built environment and a passion for architecture. Miles returned to school at the University of California at Berkeley where he received a Masters of Architecture degree in 2015. His past experiences as a woodworker and artist continue to influence his architectural work by informing a hands-on understanding of materiality and a strong graphic sensibility.
