Over the last ten years Michael has been practicing architecture in the Chicagoland area. His project experience ranges from public service buildings including village halls, fire and police stations as well as K-12 and higher education. He had a circuitous route through school chasing a dream of baseball but finally landed at University of Illinois Chicago where he earned his BA in Architecture. His skill set lead him in the direction of being a technician of building systems and components, specifically the exterior envelope. His passion has been integrating innovative designs with high performing yet constructible details. He has a special interest in the construction process, collaborating with all team to trouble shoot and problem solve. Outside of work you will find him teaching at a local community college, staying active with UIC’s architecture alumni association and engaging in some sort of competitive activity.
