A native of the Middle-West, Luke joined the Chicago office of VDTA in the fall of 2015. Since then he has helped guide a 26 story luxury housing project to construction, while also lending his talents to other projects in the office and continuing his efforts towards licensure. Luke brings a strong sense of design, technical ability, and collaborative spirit from his academic career. While earning his BS in architecture at Kent State University, Luke gained a broad knowledge of architecture and its corresponding systems. Luke received his Master of Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, PennDesign, where he became immersed in architectural theory and found particular interest in parametric modeling. During this time, Luke was fortunate to travel and study architecture in South Korea, numerous countries in Europe, and many cities in the United States. Along with his passion for architecture and building, Luke enjoys making music and exploring Chicago’s restaurant and brewery scenes.
