Ellen brings a variety of experience to VDTA with 10 years of professional design practice and project management. Ellen began her career at a consultancy in New York City where she combined her Industrial Design education with her strong interest in Graphic Design. During her time at the consultancy she worked on a wide range of projects including brand development, advertising, website interface, packaging design, product design, retail displays and tradeshow exhibits for many national accounts. While in graduate school in New York City she researched and developed a series of information presentation methods that serve to stimulate creative thought in museum visitors, a development she calls Lateral Presentation. After graduate school and before coming to VDTA, Ellen spent several years at an Architecture firm in Atlanta combining her cross-disciplinary experience on Experiential Graphic Design projects that included sports arenas, restaurants, corporate headquarters, tradeshows, educational and financial institutions. Ellen enjoys approaching projects from a wholistic design viewpoint to fully understand her clients needs and develop cohesively branded results.
