Chris is an architect and artist native to the Chicago-land area. He undertook his undergraduate studies at University of Illinois at Chicago, spending his final year in Versailles enjoying French culture and studying architecture in the horse stables at the Château of Versailles. Following his course of study, Chris returned to the states and began working professionally on architectural projects of various scales while undertaking numerous artistic endeavors at Hoplite, his gallery and workshop in the Chicago Arts District. When the time was right, Chris enrolled in graduate school where he split time between living in a tent in the Sonoran Desert of Arizona and a renovated chicken coop in Spring Green, Wisconsin. This adventure culminated when received a MArch degree with Cum Laude distinction, from Taliesin - The Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. The day after graduation Chris was back working professionally - delivering high quality residential, hospitality, and exhibit design projects. Now at VDTA Chris is utilizing all his skills and experiences to deliver creative and insightful solutions for all projects that land on his desk.
