Robert Webber, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has over 13 years of experience as a designer and project manager. Bob’s passion for innovative design is reflected in his broad experience with corporate, educational, and multi-family residential projects in Chicago and the Silicon Valley. In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Bob is Valerio Dewalt Train Associates’ Chief Sustainability Officer. He plays a key role in the planning and design of Valerio Dewalt Train Associates’ most advanced, high-performing and environmentally responsible projects, including the University of Chicago Gordon Parks Arts Hall and EnV, a 28-story residential building in downtown Chicago. He is currently working on the the Aloft Hotel Magnificent Mile project. Bob co-founded the Living Building Challenge (LBC) Collaborative: Chicago, an organization affiliated with the International Living Future Institute that promotes the LBC through organized professional and community events. He has been with VDTA since 2003.

Tom Daly, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, is a skilled architect and project manager who has been at VDTA since 2002. He has worked on projects that span multiple typologies and scales, including University of California San Diego’s Rita Atkinson Residences and the Seven27 apartments in Madison, WI. He is currently working on a 490,000 SF mixed-use development in downtown Madison, WI. Along with being a leader in the use of Integrated Project Delivery methods, Tom has also led the implementation of advanced BIM technologies across the firm, enhancing the firm’s ability to deliver creative solutions to complex problems throughout all phases of the design and construction process.

Stephen Killion has been with Valerio Dewalt Train since 2012. Formally trained as an architect, Stephen’s parallel understanding in both the architectural and graphic design disciplines allows him to uniquely respond to the graphics needs of the office and its clients. His work includes the award-winning SAIC Donor Wall, a wayfinding system for the Kresge Foundation’s headquarters, and place-making graphics for Walsh College. Stephen is currently working on Glassdoor’s new Chicago office as well as a donor installation at Boston Children’s Hospital. In addition to his own work as a designer, Stephen hosts and produces a design-focused podcast for Mas Context called Mas Context Dialogues.

Adam Farooq has been overseeing marketing and new business development with Valerio Dewalt Train since 2013. With his multi-disciplinary expertise in marketing, architecture, and web development, Adam brings fresh and innovative ideas to his work. He is especially intrigued by how design can be used to communicate an idea and connect with clients. He has led successful marketing pursuits for many projects, including the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo Student Housing South Campus, Hurley Place, the Latin School of Chicago Master Plan, Chicago Park District Ford Calumet Big Marsh and many of our firm’s tech workplaces in the Bay Area.
